A Drug-Free edu. Las Vegas, NV (ADFELVNV) is a alcohol and substance abuse prevention program.
We have found a different way to educate grades 8 to 12 in the Clark County School District, by sharing
our real life stories with the students. Our names are Pauleee and Anna-Lisa Curran, we educate
the next generation on alcohol and drug abuse, so they may have a true choice for their future.
As ex-drug dealers, ex-users, ex-meth cook and parents, we know first-hand what we are talking about.
In the past teens where taught to know what the drugs looked like but not what they did to your mind,
body and health long-term. We have been through the reality of this horrible lifestyle for decades
and made it back. Our hearts desire is: NO CHILD or FAMILY MEMBER would feel the pain of addiction.
We are certified by the National Institutes of Health Office Extramural Research by completing the
training course "Protecting Human Research Participants".
We have also been endorsed by numerous Clark County educators and administrators; The Boulder
City D.A.R.E. Officer/Instructor; Boulder City Police Detective/Advisor of police explorers The Research Review
Committee of the Clark County District reviewed this program and approved its use in the Clark
County School System.
This program has reached approximately 20,000 students ages 12-18. The classes are one health class
at a time 4 days per week 6 periods per day.
